Run to the Water

Run to the Water is a 4km or 8km all-inclusive fun run organised by SANTÉ, James Cook University's Global health Group to raise funds for Evidence Action which is a charity that provides water dispensers for many African communities (for more information see https://www.evidenceaction.org).

We like to put the 'fun' in fun run and encourage everyone to get involved. Students, families, lectures, parents - you're all invited! There's no pressure to run and we have two distances to cater for all abilities. An 8km race beginning at 7:15am and a 4km race at 7:30am around the scenic Riverway Precinct! So lace up those shoes and we'll see you at 7am on Sunday the 9th of April! Tickets cost just $10 and go to a great cause :)

To confirm/finalise your tickets please transfer $10 to SANTÉ and email the receipt of your $10 bank transfer to santetreasurer@outlook.com within 24 hours of signing up to validate your ticket. The SANTÉ team will then confirm your ticket purchase within 2-4 business days via email. Please put the ticket number in the description e.g. MJA865166 This number is found below the QR code when you received your ticket via email.
